Youth & Adult Spring Club Hockey in Co. Springs

Heads up! You may have gotten this email (see photos of the email below) from Skate City Sports and be wondering exactly what it means for club hockey this spring. So here are a few clarifying bullet points:

• Club hockey is no longer included our monthly skate city sports membership. (Actually these 3 tournaments were never included in your SCS membership.)

• Spring 2026 club hockey will now be condensed into the following 3 tournaments, each with their own registration costs. (Think: more free weekends for your family! More playtime per weekend!)

• Club jerseys will be required for these tournaments, and can be ordered through the link below.

What This Means for SCS Club Players

• These regional events will be what our Club players will be participating in for the spring, as we work toward building our teams for our biggest event of the year, the Walt Frazier Invitational in June.

• State Wars, TORHS, and NARCh are all full weekend events whereathletes will compete across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — no more extended single-day marathon blocks at the rink.

• All SCS Club teams will be guaranteed two individual team practices heading into each regional event. (Yay!! That’s new!)

• Families will first need to complete the interest form below, followed by a payment link as tournament dates approach so we can finalize rosters and collect event fees.

One more thing you may not know: did you realize that Saturday mornings from 7-8am, there is a GREAT practice that youth athletes interested in club hockey are welcome to participate in? True story! It’s at Skate City on Austin Bluffs and Academy. Updates are posted in the team reach app weekly.
